Teenagers In Buleleng Beaten By Dozens Of People, Police Are Looking For Perpetrators

BULELENG - A teenager with the initials KV (16) from Kayuputih Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, was beaten by dozens of people while with his girlfriend. The video of the beating was spread on social media.

The 15-second video shows a number of people carrying out the persecution. There were screams of a woman trying to stop the beating.

"The victim reported to the Police last night," said Head of Public Relations of the Buleleng Police, AKP Gede Darma Diatmika, Monday, September 25.

According to the victim's statement, there were about 15 people who beat him. The incident occurred on the soccer field in Kalibukbuk Village, Buleleng District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, on Saturday (23/9) at around 02.00 WITA.

Chronology, at that time the victim was driving with his girlfriend. In the middle of the trip, his motorbike was grabbed by another motorbike until it almost fell.

The victims continued their journey until they arrived at the soccer field in Kalibukbuk Village. There, the perpetrator hit the victim with a helmet and his bare hands.

"So, the victim suffered bruises and bleeding and suddenly came, some 15 people immediately participated in the beating of the victim," he added.

Currently, the police are still looking for the perpetrators of the beating by asking for statements from witnesses at the location and checking CCTV around the location.

The victim has been post-mortem at the hospital as evidence of reports of abuse.

"The victim admitted that he did not know the people who ganged up on him. We are still investigating," he said.
