He said this was following up on the actions of teachers and honorary education personnel who came to the Mukomuko DPRD and the Mukomuko Regional Secretariat because their work contracts that had expired since June 2023 had not been extended until now. A total of 996 honorary teachers and education personnel are spread across children's education institutions (PAUD), elementary schools (SD), and junior high schools (SMP). The work contract of teachers and education personnel with honorary status in the area has expired since June 2023 has not been extended until now. Although the payment of salaries for teachers and education personnel is honorary through the APBD and APBN, he said, the important thing must be clear, not to overlap. The finalization of salary payments is in the Education and Culture Office. This agency is directed to verify and validate data so that no overlapping teaching hours between civil servants, PPPK, honorary and voluntary workers. "We have to get a definite figure on how much BOS funds can be, after the BOS capability is clear, then the government is looking for other sources and it is possible to use DAU," he said.
