Bogor City Government Pockets 37 Extortion Complaints And 92 PPDB Fraud

BOGOR - Many problems haunt the world of education, including the city of Bogor. This was acknowledged by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya.

Starting from the PPDB polemic, his party had opened a public complaint service. A number of problems have spread to the phenomenon of illegal levies (extortion) in a number of Bogor City schools.

Based on his records, from August 1 to September 18 through Sibadra and complaint numbers, as many as 37 complaints regarding extortion and PPDB fraud were 92 complaints.

"It's only for elementary and junior high school levels, this will be followed up and the Inspectorate must be firm. Some of this can be transferred to law enforcement officials (APH)," said Bima, Wednesday, September 21.

He did not deny that the number was still increasing. One of those who had caught his attention regarding the alleged extortion case that occurred at SDN Cibeureum. This case has been processed to the imposition of sanctions.

"So I ordered the Inspectorate to supervise directly, so that it can be followed up. There are no peaceful stories, there must be a deterrent effect so that people don't play games," said Bima Arya.

The legal process, according to Bima, is part of learning. He emphasized that all reports submitted regarding the inequality in education in Bogor City must be responded to.

"All complaints must be processed. Currently (the City Government) of Bogor is trying its best to build a system," said Bima.

Therefore, Bima invites residents to dare to report all extortion practices or PPDB fraud.

"Don't be afraid. We install a body to make sure everything can be reported, the system has a gap, the space. I support student friends to remain critical. Please monitor all PPDB to be better in the future," he said.
