JAKARTA - The mother of Imam Masykur, namely Fauziah (47) underwent an examination at Polda Metro Jaya regarding the kidnapping and murder reports experienced by her three TNI members, namely Praka RM, Praka J, and Praka HS.

Fauziah's attorney, Indra Haposan Sihombing, explained that his client was asked by investigators as many as 21 questions related to the kidnapping incident.

"The point is to explain today how the process of murder began when, it happened, then billed for money extorted is threatened with death," said Indra when met at Polda Metro Jaya as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 20.

Indra said that Fauziah was known to have reported to the Polda Metro Jaya on August 14, 2023, to find the whereabouts of Imam Masykur. However, Imam Masykur was never found before finally his body was dumped in the Jatiluhur Reservoir, Karawang, West Java.

Now Polda Metro Jaya is also processing three civilians who are also involved in the kidnapping of Imam Masykur, one of the three civilians with the initials ZSS (IDR Praka RM brother-in-law).

Indra asked the Metro Police to ensnare the three civilians under Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning Murder and Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Premeditated Murder.

"So actually, there are three articles that are applied, three kidnappings and then persecution. We have asked for the 338 murder and 340 planning to be implemented, because they also participated with these three people (TNI suspects)," he explained.

As previously reported, Praka RM, Praka J, and Praka HS, together with a civilian with the initials ZSS (Prika RM's brother-in-law), committed the crime of kidnapping, extortion, and mistreatment of two civilians. One of the civilians who died in that case was Imam Masykur (aged 25).

Praka RM is known to be a member of Paspampres, while Praka HS is a member of the Topographic Directorate of the Indonesian Army and Praka J is a member of the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command.

Imam Masykur is an immigrant from Aceh who works as a guard at a cosmetic shop in the Rempoa area, South Tangerang, Banten. Imam was kidnapped by the perpetrators on August 12, 2023.

At the time of the incident, to the victim and local residents, the perpetrators claimed to be police officers. Based on the results of an initial examination by the Military Police of Kodam Jaya, the victim is known to be involved in the illegal drug trade.
