Gresik Regent, Fandi Akhmad Yani, stated that the Gresik Regency Government bears all the medical costs of elementary school students with the initials SAH, 8, victims of eye plugs with satay stabs by their seniors. In addition, SAH will also find a new, more comfortable school place.

"All costs include psychological assistance borne by the Gresik Government," said Yani, Wednesday, September 20.

SAH has undergone a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination at Pelindo Husada Citra Hospital (PHC) Surabaya today. Yani is grateful for the condition of the SAH, so it is not necessary to be hospitalized.

"Alhamdulillah, he is in good health, and he is not hospitalized, he can go straight home," he said.

After SAH underwent treatment, Yani promised the SAH students would still go to school. However, the place of school will be moved to a more comfortable place.

"For the school, we will find a comfortable and fun place," he said.

Previously, an elementary school student with the initials SAH, 7, was suspected of being abused by his seniors on August 7, 2023. At that time, the student was participating in the Augustan competition in the school yard, and suddenly the perpetrator was pulled into an alley.

Based on the student's confession to his family, in the alley between the teacher's room and the school fence, the victim was hit with pocket money by his seniors. The victim, who refused, then poked his right eye with a pentol stab until he was injured.

Based on the student's confession after being questioned by the Gresik Police Child and Women Protection Unit (PPA), the victim SAH admitted that her classmate had often been hacked. In fact, according to him, the burglary has occurred since he was in grade 1 elementary school.
