The North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU) National Unity and Political Agency (Kesbangpol) is mapping the area with low voters' participation to be increased. He said, regions that were considered low voters' participation, among others, Telemow Villages in Sepaku District, Buluminung Village (Pajam District), Waru Village (Waru District), Labangka Village ( Babulu District), and others. Pempatul Election 2024 in North Penajam Paser Regency is targeted to reach 80 percent or be increased from voter participation in the 2019 elections, he said. The voter participation targets in the 2019 elections reached 79 percent and the 2019 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) reached 72 percent, he explained. "Efforts to increase voter participation in the success of the 2024 General Election continue to be carried out in North Penajam Paser Regency," he said.

Efforts to increase voter participation, he explained, were not carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU) of North Penajam Paser Regency, but also by the local National Police Agency. The North Penajam Paser Regency Kesbangpol Agency has begun to socialize the general election by visiting the community in every village and sub-district.
