Brimob Team Identify Grenade Finding Residents Across Jambi City

Jambi - The bomb disposal team (Jibom) Gegana Sat Brimob Jambi Police headed to the location to identify the discovery of objects suspected of being grenades by residents in RT10, Olak Kemang Village, Teluk Lake District, Sebrang Jambi City.

Dansat Brimob Jambi Police Kombes Nadi Chaidir said his party was aware of the discovery of an object suspected of being a grenade from a member of the Teluk Lake Police.

The Jibom Gegana team headed to the location where the grenade was found to be evacuated and identified first.

"Now the team is heading to the location of the object suspected of being a grenade found by residents of Seberang. The team will identify it first before it is positioned or detonated to be destroyed by the team," said Kombes Nadi as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 15.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Teluk Iptu Police, M Choirul Umam Fauzi, said that currently his party was still at the location where the grenade was allegedly found and he admitted that he did not know the type of grenade found by the resident.

The appearance of the object suspected of being a grenade found by a resident was in the form of a small ball made of iron. The object is thought to be a grenade that looksightly muddy with the soil.

On top of the object, it is suspected that this grenade also has a small stalk that is suspected of detonating the object suspected of being the grenade.

The Jambi Police Mobile Brigade Team Jibom Gegana Sat Brimob is identifying the object and if it is an active grenade it will be immediately detonated or disposal.
