PEKANBARU - A gold miner was found dead due to being buried by landslides inILaptam Village inILaptam Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, Thursday, September 14. Head of the Pekanbaru Basarnas Office, Budi Cahyadi, explained that the victim was Deni (30). Previously, he said, the joint team together looked for buried victims. "Previously, members of the Kuansing Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported this. One person was reportedly buried in the ground on Wednesday," he said in a written statement received in Pekanbaru, Antara, Thursday, September 14. The gold miners were buried by landslides inILaptam Village, which is about 114 kilometers to the south from the Pekanbaru Basarnas Office. Then six people from the Pekanbaru Basarnas rescue team headed to the location with complete equipment to carry out rescue efforts. "After the search effort, at 10.50 WIB the victim was found dead," he said.

After being found, the victim was then evacuated to the funeral home for burial.
