JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council, Hidayat Nur Wahid (HNW) confirmed that the shuro assembly meeting discussed support for the PKB General Chair, Muhaimin Iskandar, to become the vice presidential candidate for Anies Baswedan's companion to be held tomorrow, Friday, September 15. The meeting will start at 14.00 WIB after Friday prayers. "God willing, after Friday, at 2 o'clock, God willing, at the PKS DPP," HNW told reporters, Thursday, September 14. HNW does not deny that the hilal related to PKS support for Cak Imin has been seen since the beginning of this month. In fact, he said, the hilal became clearer when Cak Imin visited the PKS office. "Oh, hilal from the beginning of the month is already there, so don't worry about that. Actually, since yesterday the national friendship was not just a hilal, it was the full moon," said the deputy chairman of the MPR. So will PKS be able to announce Cak Imin as an Anies vice presidential candidate tomorrow? Related to this, HNW said, the syuro assembly still needed to hear the views of its members throughout Indonesia before establishing support for Cak Imin. This is because it is a process of determining the candidate pairs for vice presidential candidates which will be supported in the 2024 presidential election from PKS. "Yes, we must continue to hear the aspirations of all members of the syuro assembly from all over Indonesia. Because they represent PKS residents from all over Indonesia, we will hear from them," said HNW.

"At the same time, we will report what was achieved yesterday and then it will be decided together," he concluded.
