40 Kir Tested Telat Truck Netted By Official Raids In Bengkulu Disanction Limited To Reprimand

BENGKULU - A total of 40 trucks whose final test period had been caught have been raided by the Bengkulu City Transportation Service (Dishub).

Head of the Bengkulu City Transportation Agency, Hendri Kurniawan, said the joint raid with the police was carried out on the route of the Bengkulu City Pedati Monument. In this raid, control is also carried out on over-dimensional trucks overloading or ODOL because it can cause road damage and traffic disruption (traffic) in Bengkulu.

"Regarding this, we carry out control and supervision and provide appeals on several roads. First, we ask that vehicles carry out pilot tests or vehicle eligibility tests at the Bengkulu City Vehicle Testing Center," he said.

Hendri said ODOL trucks, both dimensions and loading, cut or cut excess dimensions when entering Bengkulu.

According to him, this was done because many people complained about the existence of ODOL trucks causing dust to fly while passing. Not to mention reports of convoy trucks speeding during peak hours.
