JAKARTA - Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) Yusril Ihza Mahendra met with the leadership of the Langitan Islamic Boarding School, KH Ubaidillah Faqih, in Babat, East Java, Sunday, September 10, evening. During the meeting, Yusril was entrusted with greetings to the Gerindra presidential candidate, Prabowo Subianto. It is known that the United Nations supports Prabowo's candidacy and joins the Advanced Indonesia Coalition with Golkar and PAN. Initially, Yusril revealed his visit to the Langitan Islamic Boarding School to stay in touch. Yusril's relationship with the hut was established when KH Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) and senior cleric KH Abdullah Faqih were still alive. In the two-hour meeting, Yusril said, Kiai really respects himself for being willing to resign as a presidential candidate in the 1999 MPR session and gave Gus Dur the opportunity. During the visit, Yusril was also accompanied by the Secretary General of the United Nations Afriansyah Noor and the Chairman of the East Java UN DPW Muhammad Masduki. Meanwhile, Kiai Ubaidillah was only accompanied by his son, who is also the caretaker of the Langitan Islamic Boarding School, Gus Alawi. Afriansyah added, Kiai Ubaidillah also gave advice and prayed for Yusril to remain istiqomah and consistent in maintaining national unity and unity, as well as paying attention to the lives of Indonesian Muslims. "I pray that Pak Yusril will become one of the trustworthy leaders of the nation who can build the law and organize this country well, so that he can become a just and prosperous country," said Afriansyah. He then mentioned that Kiai Ubaidillah left greetings to Prabowo through his chairman.
