The North Maluku Police Chief, Inspector General Midi Siswoko, recommended the dismissal of eight members/ANTARA with Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH).

MALUKU - North Maluku Police Chief (Malut) Inspector General Midi Siswoko recommended carrying out Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH) or dismissal of eight of its members for allegedly violating the Police code of ethics. "Eight members proposed by PTDH are AKP SA, Bripka AHK, Bripka MF, Bripka L, Brigpol MF, Brigpol Ts, Brigadier ARD and Brigadier RSS," said Head of Public Relations Kombes Michael Irwan Thamsil in Ternate, Antara, Monday, September 11. The North Maluku Police Chief does not hesitate if there are members who do wrong to do PTDH. "The Kapolda will take firm action if there are unscrupulous members who are wrong, obviously it will be dealt with according to the rules," he said. Previously, the North Maluku Regional Police from 2020 to 2022 had committed PTDH to 25 personnel for committing serious violations in the form of infidelity, immoral acts and narcotics abuse during 2020-2022. The North Maluku Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Midi Siswoko, said that 25 personnel who had been PTDH for the past three years, both from the Regional Police and ranks, included infidelity, immoral acts and narcotics abuse. He said this PTDH is a manifestation and form of the realization of the commitment of the National Police leadership in imposing punitive sanctions for personnel who violate the discipline and code of ethics of the Indonesian Police. The Kapolda said that as many as 25 members of the PTDH had tarnished the good name of the Polri institution in the eyes of the community. The duties and obligations of a member of the National Police are law enforcement, protection, community protection and harkamtibmas. Therefore, the Kapolda hopes that all North Maluku Regional Police personnel and ranks will take lessons and lessons from the PTDH ceremony this time.
