Kuncoro Wibowo Responds To KPK's Call As A Social Assistance Suspect For The Ministry Of Social Affairs

JAKARTA - Former President Director of PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR) M. Kuncoro Wibowo fulfills the summons of investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, Wednesday, September 6. He was examined as a suspect in alleged corruption in the distribution of rice social assistance (bansos) for the Family Hope Program (PKH) of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).

Monitoring in the field, Kuncoro arrived at 09.10 WIB. The former President Director of PT Transjakarta stated that he was cooperative and would help the anti-corruption commission investigate the case.

"I intend to help the KPK uncover this case. So as is known, BGR has the mandate as the only SOE from the government to deliver 15 kilograms of rice social assistance," Kuncoro told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 7.

Meanwhile, the KPK said that two other suspects were also summoned with Kuncoro. They are the Commercial Director of PT BGR, Budi Susanto (BS) and Vice President (VP) Operation of PT BGR, April Chuniawan (AC).

"The investigative team summoned the three suspects for examination," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters.

The KPK has named six people as suspects in the alleged corruption in the distribution of PKH rice assistance at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). They are the former President Director (Managing Director) of PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR) Logistics who is also the former President Director of PT Transjakarta, M Kuncoro Wibowo (MKW); Chairman of the Advisory Team of PT Primalayan Teknologi Persada (PTP) Ivo Wongkaren (IW).

Then, the Commercial Director of PT BGR, Budi Susanto (BS); Vice President (VP) Operation of PT BGR, April Chuniawan (AC); Chairman of the Advisory Team of PT PTP, Roni Ramdani (RR); and GM PT PTP, Richard Cahyanto (RC). Of that number, three have been detained, namely Ivo, Roni, and Richard.

In this case, the KPK revealed that there was a state loss of up to Rp. 127.5 billion. Meanwhile, Ivo, Richard, and Roni received a profit of Rp. 18.8 billion and investigators will still investigate.
