The thief of the Mazda CX-3 car on Jalan Kerinci 8 Number 23, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta was arrested. Based on the investigation, the perpetrator with the initials LY sold the stolen car complete with the victim's Motor Vehicle Owner's Book (BKPB).

Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Henrikus Yossi, explained that the incident occurred on Saturday morning, August 19, at around 04.00 WIB.

The incident began when the victim's house with the initials IY was empty because the victim was going out of town.

"After returning home, the victim was surprised to see the house's messy condition and luxury items were gone," said Yossi, Tuesday, September 5.

In addition to stealing a car, the perpetrator also stole luxury bags, watches and BKPB. Feeling disadvantaged, the victim reported the incident to the police. Officers who received the report immediately moved to find the whereabouts of the perpetrator and his car.

Based on the results of the police investigation, the Mazda CX-3 car stolen by the perpetrator was detected in Yogyakarta.

"And it is true that the team managed to get the car in Yogyakarta," said Yossi.

Yossi said that the car had changed hands several times after it was sold. He sells it according to market price, because it owns the car's BPKB.

"From the results of our search, (Finally) managed to secure one perpetrator with the initials LY in Yogyakarta," said Yossi.

The perpetrators have recently been taken to the South Jakarta Metro Police for further investigation.
