UI Students Ask Anies, DKI Provincial Government Ensures ASN Allowances When COVID-19 Has Paid Off

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) has confirmed that it has paid off the postponement of regional performance allowances (TKD) for all state civil servants (ASN) due to COVID-19.

"For those who postpone 25 percent, all of them have been paid by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to all DKI Jakarta civil servants. So, nothing has not been paid yet," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) Michael Rolandi as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 31.

Michael said that the postponement of the TKD was stated in Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 49 of 2020 concerning Rationalization of Civil Servant Income in the context of Handling COVID-19.

Article 2 paragraph 1a of the Governor's Regulation explains that TPP/TKD PNS/Candidates for Civil Servants are rationalized by 25 percent.

Michael said the policy was a form of contribution from civil servants to handling COVID-19 in Jakarta.

"On the orders of the Governor of DKI at that time, it was used as a contribution from civil servants to participate in financing the handling of COVID-19," said Michael.

Meanwhile, Article 3 paragraph 1a of the regulation explains that the postponement of payment of income with the provisions of TPP/TKD PNS/PNS Candidates has been postponed by 25 percent of TPP/TKD in its class of positions.

"Third, 25 percent of TKD for each ASN is postponed," said Michael.

The 25 percent of ASN TKD that has been postponed has been paid in stages from January to April 2021.

Thus, he continued, there are no more debts that have not been paid to employees.
