Defense Minister Prabowo Hands Over 100 Units Of Rantis E-Tactical Sergap Domestic Products To The TNI/Polri

JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto handed over 100 units of electric trail motorcycles (E-Tactical Sergap) to the TNI and Polri, at Sudirman Field, Ministry of Defense, Jakarta

The handover was symbolically given from the Minister of Defense to Aslog Kasad, Aslog Kasal, Asops Kasau and Asops Chief of Police.

"The production and utilization of the E-Tactical Sergap rantical is proof of the strong commitment and support of the Ministry of Defense for the production of the nation's children. As children of the nation, it is appropriate for us to work to contribute to Indonesia's independence in the defense and security sector," said Defense Minister Prabowo as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 31.

Defense Minister Prabowo also gave high appreciation to the domestic defense industry, PT. Len Industri (Persero), PT Eltran Indonesia and PT BYXE Motor Indonesia (BMI) for successfully producing and graduating certification for this rantis electric trail motor.

The presence of this random E-Tactical Sergap is expected by the Minister of Defense to be one of the breakthroughs of defense and security which will certainly have a positive effect on fulfilling high military and police mobility.

"Take good care of it so that the age of using a vehicle can be longer", ordered Defense Minister Prabowo.

The Ministry of Defense is the first ministry to use this clean energy technology for the operation of soldiers in units.

E-Tactical Sergap uses electric power control with a medium drive 3000 watt motorcycle dynamo, a maximum speed of 75 km/hour, and a carrying capacity of approximately 160 kg.

Not only that, this type of rantis has a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 61 percent and its use can reduce bad air pollution, especially in the capital city.
