Jealousy Of Women Who Are Liked To Be Approached Becomes The Motive For The Murder Of Minimarket Employees In Kapuas

PALANGKA RAYA - Kapuas Resort Police (Polres), Central Kalimantan (Kalteng), revealed the motive for the perpetrator with the initials MA (17) to kill an Indomaret Teralaku employee, Kapuas Murung District.

"The motive is a romantic grudge. Where the victim is close to the woman who is liked by the perpetrator," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kapuas Police, AKP Iyudi Hartanto, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.

The chronology occurred on Sunday (27/8) at around 13.30 WIB at Indomaret Paledua, Kapuas Murung District.

The perpetrator came with a sharp knife type weapon that was put into the perpetrator's jacket to persecute the victim.

At that time, victim AM (22) and his partner carried out a morning shift from 07.00-15.00 WIB. When the victim was serving, the MA perpetrator entered Indomaret to shop.

Then the perpetrator looked for something, so the victim came to the perpetrator. Suddenly the victim screamed for help while running towards the exit, and the victim's colleague saw the victim covered in blood.

Subsequently, the victim came out of Indomaret's entrance and ran towards the road, then the perpetrator immediately took his motorbike parked in front of Indomaret's right and immediately went towards the fire.

After fleeing, local police officers who received the report immediately chased the alleged perpetrator MA, a resident of Kapuas Murung Subdistrict. MA was arrested by the police four hours after committing the murder or at around 17.30 WIB to be exact on Sunday (27/8).

"We have secured the alleged perpetrator in Gang Patah, Kelurahan Palaka Lama RT 07, Kapuas Murung District," he explained.

The police also secured other evidence, including a yellow knife and a black sarong used by the perpetrator to kill the victim, and a black Honda Vario motorcycle number 6203 ACQ which the perpetrator used to escape.

"We are still investigating the alleged article given to the alleged perpetrator," said AKP Iyudi Hartanto.
