Build Future Indonesia, Ganjar Encourages Green Economy And Digital Transformation

The presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo will reveal the key to building Indonesia in the future, during a speech at the Central Java PDI-P Consolidation Standby Call at Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang City, Friday (25/8/2023) night.

Two of the keys to building a future Indonesia are green economy and digital transformation. In addition to these two things, Ganjar will also accelerate poverty reduction, job creation, and access to education.

"Of course the green economy and the digital economy that we are trying to encourage. Of course it cannot be suddenly, but today the foundation has started, for example downstreaming to the electric transportation system," said Ganjar accompanied by PDI-P DPP Chair Puan Maharani after the event.

The foundation that Ganjar is referring to is what President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has been working on for two terms. According to him, President Jokowi has succeeded in laying the foundation for future economic transformation in the green economy. Even today, Indonesia is seen as one of the main players in the electric vehicle ecosystem.

"We have prepared from downstream several factories prepared. That is the easiest example. But we must prepare human resources so that they can be filled by all of us. That is what we mean as a collaboration and synergy," said Ganjar.

According to Ganjar, the acceleration of work programs must also be carried out for green economic innovation. Currently, Indonesia's score in the Green Growth Index (GGI) in 2022 is 57.36, already higher than the global average of 54.83.

This achievement can be improved by accelerating the transition of energy to justice, environmentally friendly transportation, and implementing a circular economy.

Regarding the digital economy, Ganjar continued, President Jokowi has also succeeded in building digital connectivity through the Palapa Ring 1-3 program so that Indonesia's digital economy jumps significantly.

"I also have to run in acceleration to carry out digital transformation in various fields including transportation and logistics, digital economy and finance, digital government, smart cities, as well as digital health and education," he said.

In addition to making a leap on the green economy and digital transformation, several problems such as reducing poverty, creating jobs, and access to education are also needed to accelerate.

"One, reducing poverty. Two, job creation. Third, related to access to education for everything. Of course, everything that has been made by Pak Jokowi, we will accelerate it," he said.

Ganjar explained that regarding the reduction in poverty, the PDI-P has made a special National Working Meeting. Its recommendations resulted in efforts so that the poor people were maintained by the state. Regarding this, according to Ganjar, his actions must be prepared.

"So now it takes a lead the lead so that then we can make a leap. The details we have compiled and God willing, we will inform the public soon," said Ganjar.

The Central Java PDI-P consolidation alert at the Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang City was attended by 33,000 cadres from all over Central Java. Present in the midst of tens of thousands of cadres were PDI-P DPP Chair Puan Maharani, Central Java PDI-P DPD Chair Bambang Wuryanto, and regional heads from the PDI-P including Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Apart from cadres, the event was also attended by leaders and representatives from the party that carried Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate. One of them is the National Daily Chair of the Perindo Party DPP Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Zainul Majdi and his staff.
