Chairman Of DKI DPRD Predicts Pramono Will Not Form TGUPP During Governor's Office: In The Past PDIP Rejected

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Khoirudin predicts that Pramono Anung, the elected Jakarta Governor candidate in the 2024 Pilkada, will not form a Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) when leading Jakarta in the next five years.

Because, seeing Pramono's background as a PDIP politician, his political attitude is no different from that of his party. Where, when Anies Baswedan served as Governor of Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period, the PDIP faction often criticized TGUPP's performance.

"Actually, Mr. Anies' TGUPP yesterday was rejected by the PDI-P. This means that if yesterday's TGUPP during Pak Anies' era became an obstacle because the governor already had a SKPD, I'm sure PDIP would not make TGUPP again. What? Because yesterday alone it was rejected," Khoirudin told reporters, Sunday, December 22.

Therefore, the adviser to the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD assesses that Pramono will maximize the task of the regional work unit (SKPD) to carry out his work program in the future without TGUPP.

"Because there are SKPDs who are all loyal to the governor. Now it's the turn (Pramono promoted by PDIP) to win, what to make (TGUPP) again? I'm sure so," said Khoirudin.

Khoirudin also responded to Pramono's plan to form a transition team that would help implement the campaign promise in the 2024 Pilkada and adjust the work program according to the direction of Jakarta after not having the status of the capital city.

Khoriudin assessed that the transition team was reasonable to form. However, one thing that is noted, Khoirudin asked Pramono and his transition team to be able to develop a work program in accordance with the 2025-2045 Regional Long-Term Development Plan which has been approved by the DKI Provincial Government together with the DPRD.

"Of course a synchronization team is needed by the new governor to be able to prepare before being inaugurated definitively by the central government. So, it is important to be able to recognize, adapt to the situation in Jakarta today," he explained.

Furthermore, Khoirudin, who is also the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKS Regional Leadership Council, ensured that his faction would not become an opposition in Pramono's government and his deputy, Rano Karno.

Khoirudin confirmed that he would cooperate with Pramono-Rano to run the government in Jakarta in the next five years.

"We jointly manage Jakarta. Everything good for the citizens of Jakarta we decide together. There is no term opposition," he explained.
