PDIP Predicts Ganjar Pranowo's Electability To Increase Significantly Next Month

The PDI-P believes that the electability of Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidate (candidate) will increase sharply after he no longer serves as Governor of Central Java in September 2023.

PDI-P DPP chairman Eriko Sotarduga said in March support for Ganjar had dropped. However, after that, support for Ganjar returned to rebound.

"Later there will be changes in the next month. We will see the results of the survey in the next month, after Mas Ganjar has finished as Governor of Central Java and can carry out maximum activities as a presidential candidate," Eriko said in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 23.

He also predicts that Ganjar's electability rate will strengthen when he finishes serving as Governor. Because, Ganjar will have plenty of time to meet people in various regions.

According to Eriko, one of the determining factors in the return of support to Ganjar is the support from President Joko Widodo. This is evident from the results of the Kompas Research and Development survey.

On the other hand, Ganjar is called a leader who is original and really thinks about the fate of the people.

"People will see what originality the leader will do. Socialization is very important that Ganjar is with the people. That is the most important thing," he said.

Not only that, the results of the latest survey by Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) stated that the electability of the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo managed to overtake Prabowo.

SMRC Research Director Deni Irvani said that in the simulation of closed choice of three names, Ganjar received 35.9 percent support, while Prabowo 33.6 percent and Anies Baswedan with 20.4 percent support.

In the Kompas Research and Development survey, Ganjar Pranowo excels in simulations of 10 names, 5 names, to 3 names. During the open simulation, Ganjar Pranowo's electability was chosen by 24.9 percent of respondents, Prabowo Subianto 24.6 percent, and Anies Baswedan 12.7 percent.

In the simulation of 10 names, Ganjar Pranowo is known to get 29.6 percent. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto 27.1 percent, and Anies Baswedan 15.2 percent.

Next, in the simulation of five names, Ganjar received 31.8 percent of the votes, 27.8 percent of Prabowo, and 15.6 percent of Anies.

In the simulation of three names, Ganjar got 34.1 percent electability. The Governor of Central Java is ahead of Prabowo who has 31.3 percent and Anies has 19.2 percent.

Meanwhile, in the latest survey by Indonesian Political Indicators, support for Ganjar was successfully rebounded.

Ganjar's electability is 35.2 percent if the presidential election is held now. Then, Prabowo 33.2 percent and Anies only 23.9 percent.
