JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo hopes that state delegates who participate in the activities of the 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting On Transnational Crime (AMMTC) will agree on a draft declaration of countering criminal acts of terrorism to trafficking in persons.

Originally, there were 10 ASEAN countries involved in these activities, namely Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

"The National Police Chief hopes that the draft declaration in an effort to deal with TIP, terrorism, and arms smuggling can be agreed upon by the ministers in the 17th AMMTC," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Monday, August 21.

Then, criminal acts of drug trafficking, money collection, international economic crimes, sea piracy, human smuggling and criminal acts of trafficking in persons or TIP.
