Voxpol Presidential Candidate Survey: Prabowo Tops Electability Class, Followed By Ganjar And Anies

The Voxpol Center Research and Consulting released the results of its latest survey regarding the electability of three presidential candidates (candidates) starting from Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan.

Based on the latest Voxpol survey, Prabowo is in the top position of the class in terms of the level of popularity, likeability and electability of candidates for presidential candidates.

Prabowo's electability as a presidential candidate promoted by Gerindra, PKB, PAN and Golkar in the highest Indonesia Raya Awakening Coalition (KKIR) compared to two other candidates with 33.6 percent gain.

"In terms of electability, it shows that Prabowo Subianto currently has the highest electability at 33.6 percent," said Executive Director of the Voxpol Center Research & Consulting PangiSyarwi Chaniago in a written statement, Tuesday, August 15.

Furthermore, the presidential candidate promoted by PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Ganjar Pranowo is in second position in the highest presidential candidate electability version of the Voxpol survey. Ganjar's electability touched 28 percent.

Followed by the third position occupied by presidential candidates supported by NasDem, Democrats, and PKS, namely Anies Baswedan. "And Anies Rasyid Baswedan with an electability of 22.4 percent in third position," he added.

The rest of the candidates for other presidential candidates whose names are not written have an electability of less than 5 percent.

This Voxpol survey was conducted from July 24 to August 2, 2023 using the multistage randomsampling method. The number of samples in the survey is 1,200 with a margin of error of 2.83%.

This survey reached 34 provinces proportionally based on the 20204 election Fixed Voter List (DPT) data. Data collection is conducted through face-to-face interviews by trained surveyors.
