Accepting The Sambo Cs Cassation Decision, South Jakarta District Court Continues To The Prosecutor's Office And Defendant

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court officially received an excerpt from the cassation decision of all defendants in the premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J. The verdict was obtained from the Supreme Court (MA) as of today.

"Petikan putusan cassasi atas nama terdakwa Ferdi Sambo, Putri Candrawati, Strong Ma'ruf dan Rizky Rizal telah resmi diterima oleh kepanitera pidana PN Jaksel pada hari Senin tanggal 14 Agustus 2023," ujar Pejabat Humas Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan, Djuyamto dalam keterangannya, Senin, 14 Agustus.

Furthermore, the South Jakarta District Court will submit the verdict to the litigants in the murder case of Brigadier J. Starting from the Prosecutor's Office and all the defendants.

"The decision will be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office and the defendants," said Djuyamto.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court abolished the death penalty for Ferdy Sambo in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J. Then, replaced with life imprisonment.

As for the defendant Putri Candrawathi. The sanction for the wife of the former Head of the Propam Police Division was released from a 20-year sentence to 10 years in prison.

For Bripka Ricky Rizal, he received a penalty from 13 to 8 years in prison. Meanwhile, Strong Ma'ruf was deducted from 15 years to 10 years in prison.
