The Cianjur Earthquake Handling Task Force (Satgas) is conducting data collection on houses affected by the damaged earthquake so that they can immediately receive phase IV assistance.

"All survivors whose houses were damaged by the earthquake and have not been registered as recipients of assistance from stage I to III are expected to be able to enter as recipients of assistance in stage IV. The data collection of damaged houses is currently underway," said Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman in Cianjur, West Java (West Java), Friday 11 August, confiscated by Antara.

Herman asked residents who have not been included in the recipient data to contact village or sub-district officials, who were then reported to the Cianjur Earthquake Handling Task Force. With hope, all earthquake victims can rebuild their homes.

"The reports we received were around 11 thousand residents who had not been recorded, so the re-data collection is ongoing," he said.

The Commander of the Cianjur Earthquake Handling Task Force (Danstagas) Colonel Inf. Heri Rustanto revealed that a number of obstacles related to data collection included that the owner of the damaged house was not on the spot, including the head of the RT or RW who became a victim.

"Most of the owners of houses that were damaged when data collection was carried out were in refugee camps outside the city, so it was difficult for officers to find locations, including when asking RT and RW who did not know exactly the location of the resident's house," he said.

This, he said, made data collection carried out 3 times or three stages because a few days after the earthquake, the owner of the house chose to flee to his relatives' homes in various cities/districts in West Java or Jabodetabek, for up to six months.

"The case is also still being found, several homeowners have not returned after six months of the earthquake. This phase IV data collection will be maximized with a long period of time so that all houses damaged by the earthquake get assistance," he said.

According to the president's instructions, he said, the provision of earthquake fund stimulant assistance must touch all survivors whose houses were damaged.
