The Bangka Belitung High Prosecutor's Office has detained the former President Director of the Bangka Belitung Sharia People's Financing Bank (BPRS), Helly Yuda after being named a suspect in a corruption case amounting to Rp7.025 billion.

Furthermore, the subsidiary of Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code.
"The detention of the suspect was carried out by investigators based on Article 21 of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP)," he said.
