"The alleged crime is negligence, causing serious injuries to people," said the attorney for the family of the victim of the cable accident, Tegar Putuhena, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 9.

According to Tegar, this step was taken after giving the reported party a long time to communicate about the continuation of this case.

"We all know that we have given enough time, starting from January 5 to today," he said.

Tegar hopes that the report will be processed by the Polda Metro Jaya soon.

Tegar conveyed this report at the same time to answer the claim of PT. Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk. who said that there was no negligence when the cable stretched the cable on Jalan Antasari, South Jakarta on January 5, 2023.

"Earlier, we conveyed all the evidence that we have included the names of the witnesses. We just need to do the examination process, proof of video photos, then the documents we have, we have also shown them to the officers and have also been recorded," he said.

In addition, Tegar also conveyed that this report aims to find legal facts so that it makes light of this incident.

"So that there are no more claims to be excited, there are no more stories that are concreted in the form of three-dimensional videos, animated videos as if a truck had passed before that then made the cable down the road and it had no basis," he added.

Tegar also conveyed to investigators at the scene of the incident on January 5 that three CCTVs were installed and the three belonged to PT. Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk.

"Later, the police will ask for it to be opened, because if it is opened it will clearly see what the incident looks like, it will also be clear when the cable marks down," he said.

The report submitted was registered with the number LP/B/46666/VIII/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya dated August 9, 2023 with Article 360 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence resulting in people being injured as in Law Number 1 of 1946.
