Beatings And Confiscations In Sunter: Police Investigate Women's Involvement Known Victims

JAKARTA - The police continue to investigate the alleged case of beating and confiscation of a young man with the initials DRS (15) in the Integrated Child Friendly Public Space (RPTRA) Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Friday, August 4.

The Head of the Tanjung Priok Police, Kompol Nazirwan, said that apart from pursuing the five perpetrators of the beating and theft, his party was also investigating the involvement of the woman with the initials N. The reason is that the group of perpetrators was a female friend who was invited when they met the victim.

It is known that N was a woman who was invited to meet the victim at the Sunter RPTRA. However, upon arrival at the location, the woman brought her friends who ended up ganging up on the victim.

"Still under investigation," Nazirwan said of the woman's involvement, when confirmed, Wednesday, August 9.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tanjung Priok Police Reskirm said that he was still chasing five youths who were suspected of ganging up and seizing the victim's motorbike.

"We will follow up, we have checked CCTV and examined four witnesses. Hopefully, the culprit will be caught," said Alex.

On his occasion, Alex explained that the incident began with the victim who got acquainted with N through social media Facebook. Then they promised to meet at the crime scene (TKP).

'Knowing the girl's name is Endah, through FB. Then the appointment at the scene. Then there were 5 friends there, then the victim was beaten. The motorbike was taken," he said.

For this incident, the victim made a report to the Tanjung Priok Police. The goal is for further action.
