The National Police Ensures That They Will Provide KPK Assistance To Find 3 Fugitives

JAKARTA - The Head of the International Relations Division (Divhubinter) of the National Police, Inspector General Krishna Murti, confirmed that he would help the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) search for three fugitives, including Harun Masiku. Technical assistance will be provided so that the perpetrators of corruption can be arrested immediately. "We will discuss further what technical assistance can be provided," Krishna told reporters after meeting with KPK officials at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, August 7. It is known that currently there are three fugitives from the KPK who are being sought. The first is Kirana Kotama, who has been wanted since 2017 for alleged bribery for filing a revision of forest conversion in Riau Province in 2014 to the Ministry of Forestry. Second, Paulus Tannos who stumbled upon the alleged corruption case in the procurement of Electronic Identity Cards (e-KTP). He is currently in Singapore. Finally, former candidate Harun Masiku is also still at large. The suspect who gave bribes to former General Elections Commission (KPU) Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan is still unknown. Harun Masiku is actually not abroad, said Krishna. Based on the traffic data held by the Police, Harun is actually in Indonesia. The suspect was only once abroad when he was about to be arrested in a hand arrest operation (OTT) a few years ago. “ He (later, red) returned to (the country, ed).
