Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo revealed many examples of corruption modes that are common in bureaucracy and government. Ganjar said the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) was the first guard in corruption prosecution and prevention.

This was conveyed by Ganjar in front of Law Enforcement Officials (APH) and APIP who participated in the joint training in handling corruption cases in the Central Java-DIY region at the Arrus Hotel, Semarang, Monday, August 7. A total of 180 APIP and APIP throughout Central Java and DIY participated in the joint activities of the Corruption Prevention Commission.

"Our hope is that in the future all the handling of corruption crimes will be APIP first, to work first. Earlier I said that APIP is not just dealing with it, but I think this must be professional," said Ganjar.

The governor of Central Java for the two periods said that there were several modes of corruption that had been linked with him. For example, the mode of admitting that the team was successful and made deposits to the leadership. Ganjar hopes that APIP can prevent it before APH takes steps.

"Without having to get to law enforcement, APIP has initiated and the first stage is important how to prevent it," he said.

On the other hand, Ganjar emphasized that the leadership plays a key role in providing examples. So that the potential for corruption can be suppressed. That's what he has applied during his ten years to lead Central Java.

"Then the system is repaired. So if everything has been done well but not implemented, the inspectorate will go down," he said.

Ganjar said, with APIP actively taking steps, corruption prevention can be carried out. Ganjar emphasized that if prevention is carried out, corruption is still happening, then it is mandatory to cooperate with APH.

"So if then we can prevent corruption, we can take firm action," he said.

Prevention is the focus of Governor Ganjar Pranowo in suppressing corruption in Central Java. During his two terms of leadership, Ganjar also collaborated with the KPK for that.

This is in line with the slogan Mboten Corruption, Mboten Ngapusi' and 'Mrku ya Rakyat, Governor has only been in Mandate since the beginning of his tenure in 2013. Ganjar emphasized that an attitude of integrity and not lying to the people is important to maintain.

"Because actually there is only one public protest, why is the service bad and why is the corruption rampant," said Ganjar

ASN, students, and remote communities are touched by Ganjar so that the anti-corruption prevention system can be formed in Central Java. Ganjar started by encouraging ASN in his government to implement the concept of easy, cheap, fast service to the community.

Ganjar menyadari bahwa semrawut'-nya birokrasi dapat menjadi percap oknum tidak bertanggung jawab untuk melalukan aksi korupsi.

"I am happy because the KPK accompanied us first, we got a lattice on how to prevent (corruption) and we reviewed one by one," he said.

Through these various efforts, Ganjar managed to bring Central Java 5 years in a row since 2018 to receive title A in the Government Agencies Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) of the Ministry of PANRB.

In addition, Central Java also won the KPK award as the province with the most integrity in 2019. Central Java is considered by the KPK with the most integrity with a score of 78.26, followed by East Java, West Sumatra, and West Java.
