High School Students In Banjarmasin Who Stabbed Their School Friends Get Fathers Assistance

The Banjarmasin Class I Correctional Center Team provides assistance to ARR (15) who is a child in conflict with law (ABH). ARR is known to have stabbed MRN (15), his high school friend in Banjarmasin City.

Based on Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA), an 18-year-old child who becomes a suspect in a criminal act and undergoes a legal process must be accompanied by a community guide (PK).

In addition to providing assistance, community supervisors can also provide recommendations as outlined in the social research report (litmas), to be used by other law enforcement officers in the process of resolving cases of criminal acts that occur.

Pudjiono said assistance was also given to the victim who was a friend of the perpetrator's class and both minors.

Based on the provisions stipulated in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law, the authority to assist a child who is a victim of a criminal act is the responsibility of a professional social worker from the Social Service or the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Pudjiono advised the appointed team to work as much as possible to accompany ABH so that they can truly get justice and not get a prison sentence.

He also hopes that legal counseling will be held in schools to anticipate similar incidents.

It is known that the bloody incident occurred during a class hour, suddenly the perpetrator approached the victim and stabbed him with a sharp weapon until he suffered a stab wound to his body and is now being treated at the hospital.

The legal process itself is handled by the Banjarmasin Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Banjarmasin Police Chief Kombes Pol Sabana Atmojo ensures that the handling is based on regulations related to children who are in conflict with the law.
