AMBON - A young man who fell from a cliff then disappeared in the waters of Alang Country, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, was found.

"The joint SAR team evacuated the man known as Ferny Patty after being found by the victim's family," said Head of the Ambon Maluku Basarnas, Muhammad Arif Anwar in Ambon, Wednesday, August 2, confiscated by Antara.

Arif said the victim was found by the joint SAR team after five days of searching.

"In the midst of the search effort that was continued today, the team received information from the King (village head) Alang that the victim's body had been found by the family," he said.

The victim was found dead at coordinates 3°46'48.93" S - 127°59'32.71"E around the waters of Alang Lama Village.

Receiving the report, the joint SAR team deployed KN SAR Abhimanyu to help evacuate the victims at 11.00 WIT, Wednesday, August 2. The victim's body was then taken to the funeral home.

With the discovery of the victim dead, the SAR operation was declared closed. All elements of the potential SAR involved were returned to their respective units.
