Illegal Business Of Bhabinkamtimas Persons In Riau Hoards Up To Tens Of Drums

The Rokan Hilir Resort Police (Rohil), Riau Province, arrested a Bhayangkara officer who trained security and public order (bhabinkamtibmas) with the initials M on suspicion of hoarding fuel oil (BBM).

"This person has been secured and examined by the Professional and Security Police of Rokan Hilir. If it is proven that there is a violation, we will definitely take action," said Head of the Rokan Hilir Police, AKBP Andrian Pramudianto, quoting Antara, Saturday, July 22.

In addition to securing the suspect, his party also confiscated 48 drums, 4 tanks, and 19 jerry cans from the location.

"We are grateful and apologize to the public for the incident and the noise caused," said the Rohil Police Chief.

The incident was revealed after a video uploaded by the Penghulu Officer (Head of Village) Balam Jaya went viral on social media on Thursday, July 20. The video was uploaded by Acting Penghulu Balam Jaya Sitanggang accompanied by local village officials.

Sitanggang menyebutkan dalam video tersebut terlihat oknum Bhabinkamtimas melakukan bisnis ilegal dengan membunyikan BBM. Ia menceritakan sambil memanggambarkan puluhan drum berisi BBM, truk, dan mobil babak terbuka.

The hoarding of fuel is next to M's house, an individual from Bhabinkamtibmas. His house is located in PT Salim Dusun Balai Jaya's plantation.
