15-Year-Old Boy In Pekalongan Forced To Drink Alcohol And Raped By 8 People, 4 Perpetrators Are Now Wanted By Police

Pekalongan Police, Central Java, revealed a case of sexual harassment against a minor with the initials HYA (15). Four perpetrators were arrested. Kasatreskrim Pekalongan Police AKP Sumaryono said the four perpetrators of sexual harassment who had been arrested by the police had the initials AF (23), EPW and H were still minors, and ER (21), all residents of Poncol Village, East Pekalongan District. "Currently, four perpetrators are still being investigated by officers. The identities of the other four perpetrators who are still being chased by the police have been identified," he said during a case at the Pekalongan Police Headquarters, Antara, Thursday, July 20. The four perpetrators who are still at large are I (19), A (19), and R (24), all residents of Poncol Village, and Z (23), residents of Landungsari Village, East Pekalongan District. The disclosure of the case began with a report from the victim's family if his son had not returned home since Thursday, July 13. However, on Friday evening, it was discovered that the victim was on the beach in the Panasari area, North Pekalongan District, in a state of trauma and was taken back to his house. To the family, the victim told that she had been raped by several perpetrators she had just met through social media. After receiving an explanation from the victim, the family then trapped the perpetrators by contacting them using the victim's cellphone to meet in the Pekalongan City Square. Finally, two of the perpetrators came to the Pekalongan City Square and were immediately arrested by residents and taken to the Pekalongan City Police. "Before being raped, the victim was forced to drink liquor by the perpetrators," he said. It is said that the suspects will be charged with Article 81 paragraph (1), Junto Article 760 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection with a minimum penalty of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 15 years in prison.

"We urge the 4 perpetrators who are still at large to surrender because the identity of the perpetrators is known to the police," he said.
