Fake Domicile, 64 Students In Cianjur Crossed Out Of PPDB SMA/SMK

JABAR - The West Java Education Office (Disdik) noted that 64 students had just been dropped from the New Student Admission (PPDB) of SMA/SMK in Cianjur Regency.

Head of the Regional VI Disdik West Java Branch Office (KCD), Endang Susilastuti, said the dozens of students were suspected of committing domicile fraud and did not meet administrative requirements.

"They were crossed out after verifying the Family Card (KK) which was not recognized by residents in the surrounding environment who were included in the zoning criteria. The family card used was not a year old and was deliberately made just to trick the zoning requirements," he said when contacted Wednesday, July 19, confiscated by Antara.

Dozens of students who were dropped from PPDB including students who were administratively incomplete, so the school could not accept the student because each school implemented administrative requirements, including those through the achievement path.

"So that prospective students who do not meet the requirements or the administration is incomplete, will automatically be crossed out, while evaluation and supervision will continue to be carried out to minimize the occurrence of fraudulent practices," he said.

"We also received many reports of alleged brokering practices in the PPDB process, but the complainant did not show further evidence related to the allegation," he said.

Endang asked parents or citizens to report any fraudulent practices that were carried out when accepting new students or other problems in the high school/vocational education environment directly to the KCD Region VI office on Jalan Raya Bandung-Cianjur or online.

"We will respond to all incoming reports with strong evidence, to minimize various problems in the educational environment, we will continue to improve supervision and evaluation," he said.
