JAKARTA - The second batch of pilgrims who have completed the Arbain pilgrimage will gradually be repatriated to the country starting Wednesday 19 July through Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport, Medina.

"Special pilgrims who have returned to Indonesia to this day are 15,208 people," he said.

On Tuesday, July 18, there were 4,141 people or 11 groups of wave I pilgrims who were dispatched to the country from King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah. There were 8,094 people who were members of 21 groups of wave II pilgrims who were dispatched from Mecca to Medina.

"To this day, 51,601 people who are members of 135 groups have occupied hotels in Medina which have been prepared by PPIH," he said.

The plan for the departure of pilgrims and officers from the Holy Land to the country on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, amounted to 7,680 people or 21 groups.
