Holiday 1 Muharram, Odd Even Jalan Puncak Bogor Starts Applicable This Afternoon

Bogor Police, West Java, will implement traffic engineering in the form of an odd-even system in the Puncak area in the context of the 1 Muharram holiday or the 1445 H Islamic New Year from Tuesday, July 18 afternoon to Wednesday 19 July.

The implementation of odd-even engineering is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 84 of 2001.

"(Even odd) starting this afternoon at 15.00 until tomorrow at 24.00 WIB," said KBO Then Bogor Police Iptu Adrian Novianto when contacted, Tuesday afternoon.

Adrian appealed to the public who will go to the Puncak Bogor area to adjust the departure time. Because, if the vehicle number plate does not match the departure date, it will be reversed.

He also explained that his party was also preparing traffic engineering in the form of one direction (one way) to anticipate traffic jams. However, its implementation is still situational, depending on conditions on the ground.

"If there will be traffic jams, we will apply one direction, but this is situational," he said.

Furthermore, Adrian said that his party also deployed personnel to help regulate traffic flow. He said, the pattern of security and traffic flow regulation that is applied is the same as what is usually done on weekends.

"We are on standby for personnel, just like weekend security, plus thickening from Sabhara and Satpol PP," he added.
