DKI KPU Returns Babileg Aldi Taher Files To PKB Because They Are Registered Doubles

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) has returned the DKI Jakarta legislative candidate files on behalf of Aldi Taher because they are registered in two parties. "The person concerned is included in the doubling of the candidate. So we give double status, we return it to the political party," said Head of the Technical Division of the DKI KPU Election, Dody Wijaya when contacted in Jakarta, Antara, Monday, July 3. According to Dody, his party returned the file to the National Awakening Party (PKB) as the party carrying Aldi Taher. After being submitted, PKB must collect the files from June 26 to July 9, 2023. If after the deadline there are still files that do not meet the KPU provisions, the legislative leg cannot participate in the election process. Dody hopes that Aldi and thousands of other baulaleg will collect repair files on time. Previously, the DKI Jakarta KPU said that it had returned 1,676 leg files to be completed. "Babileg DPRD DKI Jakarta Province as many as 1,902 people. Those who meet the requirements are 226 people or equivalent to 11.88 percent, the rest are returned to be completed," said Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU, Wahyu Dinata in a press statement, Monday (26/6). Wahyu said the file was returned for violating several things, such as the difference in the writing of names in the Candidate Information System (Silon) with the BB model form. In addition, a BB Model Form was still found. A Prospective Statement Letter that was not given a tick. Finally, several balaleg diplomas were not submitted in accordance with the educational degree that was held. Now it opens up opportunities for political parties to submit back files that have been repaired. Wahyu said the file could be submitted back to the DKI KPU from 26 June to 9 July 2023.

The file verification process takes place from May 15 to June 23, 2023. During the process, the DKI Jakarta KPU again checked the authenticity and completeness of registration documents, including diplomas.
