Unable To Escape Citizens' Sieges, Marsuki Is Showered With Crude Bogem Despite Failing To Steal A Motorbike

JAKARTA - Marsuki (29) a motorcycle theft perpetrator (curanmor) from East Lampung was arrested by members of the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Jalan Tanah Sereal X, RT 10/11, Tanah Sereal Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta.

The previous perpetrator was caught by residents while carrying out the theft of the victim's motorbike named Kismanto, a boarding house resident. The perpetrator became the target of the residents who were furious at the perpetrator's actions.

Luckily, the police who arrived at the location managed to secure the perpetrator from the increasingly brutal tantrums of the residents.

Meanwhile, from the suspect's body, evidence was found of letter T keys and a knife and 1 motorbike. For further processing, the suspect was brought to the Tambora Police Headquarters.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama explained that the perpetrator was arrested at the scene, namely Tanah Sereal X Street, Tambora. Initially, residents caught one person pushing a motorcycle.

Then the owner of the motorbike came to the person and the perpetrator immediately fled. Subsequently, residents managed to drop the perpetrator's motorbike. The perpetrator's attempt to escape from the siege failed. Even though the perpetrator had run, the perpetrator was arrested.

"Residents assisted by picket units of the Criminal Investigation Agency immediately chased and arrested the perpetrators around the crime scene. The perpetrators and motorcycle evidence were secured," said Kompol Putra to VOI, Friday, June 23.

"During the search, the body found a letter T key and a kitchen knife carried by the perpetrator," he added.

Currently, the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating the perpetrators. The police are also still investigating the total crime scene that has been stolen by the perpetrators.

"Currently, the Criminal Investigation Unit is developing a network or group of these perpetrators," he said. As a result of his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code.
