CIREBON - A porridge maker named Wahidin who became a victim of fraud by the former Mundu Police Chief in Cirebon, the initials SW, decided to withdraw his report at the Cirebon City Police.

Wahidin said his report against AKP SW was withdrawn because an agreement had been made between the two parties.

"We have forgiven each other and the justice I have been looking for has been obtained," Wahidin told reporters in Cirebon, West Java (West Java), Wednesday, June 21, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said the revocation of this report was based on a mutual agreement without any coercion from either party.

According to him, the efforts he has been fighting for from 2021 have now paid off because he has given his rights after the peace process took place.

Wahidin revealed that his party was gracefully accepting the apology from AKP SW.

"Yes, for reports to the (West Java) Regional Police and the Cirebon City Police, I will withdraw them because a mutual agreement has been made," he said.

Meanwhile, Mundu Police Chief AKP SW's attorney, Firdaus Yuninda, said that with the peace agreement and the withdrawal of the charges from Wahidin, his party would immediately coordinate with the West Java Regional Police.

Firdaus ensured that his client would compensate for all the losses suffered by Wahidin and apologize for the incident so that the National Police institution was carried away in the case.

"We will coordinate with West Java Police investigators by bringing a deed of peace. Our client will also fulfill all of Mr. Wahidin's requests," he said.

Meanwhile, AKP SW when he was the Mundu Police Chief in Cirebon promised access for Wahidin's son to become a member of the National Police.

AKP SW lured him by claiming to have received the help of one of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the National Police Headquarters with the initials N. However, on condition that he has to deposit some money.

After Wahidin sent money totaling Rp. 310 million, his son was declared not to have graduated as a member of the National Police.

At the medical test stage, Wahidin asked for the money that had been deposited back to him. The victim asked for it because previously there had been a written agreement with AKP SW that the money could be returned if it did not pass.

However, AKP SW and N never returned the money. In 2021, Wahidin finally reported the case to the Mundu Police, whose police chief was held by AKP SW. However, the case stalled without clarity.

"We then withdrew the case to the Cirebon City Police Satreskrim. We had sent three summons and all of them were not fulfilled by the suspect," said Cirebon City Police Chief AKBP Ariek Indra Sentanu in Cirebon, Monday, June 19.

Furthermore, on Saturday, June 17, 2023, Ariek said officers arrested N and brought AKP SW for examination. Both were named as suspects on Sunday 18 June.
