After Killing 2 Biological Children, Mother In Jember Ends Her Own Life

JEMBER - A mother with the initials HK in Jember Regency, East Java, has the heart to kill her two biological children. The victims were LA (7 years) and AV (8 months).

After killing his two children, the mother committed suicide in the house.

"We received reports from the public regarding the tragic incident and went straight to the location with Bintoro Village officials," said Jember Police Chief AKBP M. Nurhidayat.

"Two victims were found dead and their mother died by hanging themselves," he continued, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, June 17.

From the external post-mortem examination, he continued, there were snares of snares and blunt object collisions on two child victims aged 7 years and 8 months. Meanwhile, the mother was found hanging herself.

"Investigators will investigate the cause of death of the two child victims because both were found dead on the bed neatly," he said.

He said investigators had asked for information from the victim's father, Agus Riyadi, who first found his wife and children dead in the room after he returned from selling cilok.

"We have asked several witnesses verbally for information, namely the husband or father of the victim and his nephew who knew about the incident," he said.

Inside the house, HK together with three children, namely the first child who was seven years old with the initials LA, the second child aged six years with the initials RZ and AV, the third child aged 8 months, but the second child survived.

"We also provide psychological assistance to the surviving second child and plan to provide detailed information regarding the incident, but we are still waiting for the recommendations of the psychological team and doctors," he said.

The incident shocked local residents, so many residents flocked to want to know about the tragic incident that killed their mother and two children, so the police installed a police line around the victim's house.
