300 Business Actors Victims Of The Cianjur Earthquake Received Assistance Of IDR 1 Million From The Center

CIANJUR - The Office of the Cianjur Regency, West Java, distributed stimulant assistance from the central government for 300 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) affected by the Cianjur earthquake.

Head of Cooperatives and MSMEs Division of the Cianjur Diskoperindag, Epra Haryono, said that of the 300 new recipients, 150 people had received money assistance of Rp. 1 million per person, which was channeled through bank transfers.

"As of May, 150 MSME actors have been affected who have received direct transfers from the ministry, the assistance is provided stimulantly for business actors affected by the earthquake," said Epra, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday 14.

There are 300 MSME actors who have been recorded, some of whom are still in process and waiting for the disbursement of aid from the central government, plus assistance from the Cianjur Regency Government which will provide assistance to ease the burden on MSME players who are earthquake victims.

The assistance received by MSME actors, he added, was through several requirements that had to be completed and submitted to the Cianjur Diskoperindag before being submitted to the central government through the ministry including data on damage to houses.

"The central government will later distribute the aid directly to the accounts of MSME actors as recipients. Meanwhile, local governments are also collecting data regarding prospective recipients of affected MSMEs," he said.

He hopes that the assistance received can be used for daily needs, including to increase the MSME products they make. "This is a form of the central and local government's concern for the economic sustainability of MSMEs in Cianjur," he said.
