PDIP Reveals TGB Name Offered By Perindo To Be Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said the name of Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Zainul Majdi was presented by Perindo as a vice presidential candidate to accompany Ganjar Pranowo.

This moment occurred when the party created by Hary Tanoesobjo visited the PDIP DPP office on Jalan Diponegoro on Friday, June 9 last week. The party's presence was to collaborate with PDIP in the 2024 election.

"Perindo then also mentioned TGB," said Hasto in Jakarta, Monday, June 12.

Hasto explained that the name of the Daily Chair of the Perindo Party emerged from the internal party bearing the Garuda symbol. However, PDIP did not want to rush.

This is because the registration of presidential and deputy candidates at the General Elections Commission (KPU) will only be held in October.

"A certain name will appear, which is the answer for PDIP and other political parties that carry Pak Ganjar," he said.

"There is PPP, there is Hanura, there is Perindo, and later there will be other parties with an idea of leaders being carried together," concluded Hasto.
