Allegedly As A Broker In Case Management At The Supreme Court, Former Commissioner Of PT Wika Beton Was Detained By The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained the former Independent Commissioner of PT Wika Beton, Dadan Tri Yudianto. He is suspected of being the party that helps and oversees the case management process at the Supreme Court (MA).

"For investigation purposes, the investigative team detained the detention center for the first 20 days against the suspect DTY," said KPK Deputy Chair Nurul Ghufron to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 6.

Ghufron said Dadan would be detained until June 25 at the KPK Detention Center Kavling C1 Branch. The detention can be extended according to the needs of investigators.

Apart from Dadan, the KPK also officially announced the Secretary of the Supreme Court, Hasbi Hasan, as a suspect in the alleged bribery case management. However, he has not been arrested.

Ghufron revealed that this case began when Hasbi was sworn in on December 20, 2020. At that time Dadan also communicated with the Intidana Savings and Loans Cooperative Debtor, Heryanto Tanaka, about the efforts to manage the case by Theodorus Yosep Parera, who is his lawyer.

Furthermore, Heryanto asked Dadan to help manage the case so that Budi Gandi Suparman could be found guilty in the Supreme Court's decision.

"At the same time to check whether the YP lawyer is really working and overseeing the review (PK) which is currently being processed regarding the KSP ID dispute case," he said.

Responding to the request, Dadan then asked for a fee that he called an injection of funds. Furthermore, in March 2022, he contacted Hasbi via the WhatsApp application.

"And convey to the suspect HH, 'this sir, someone wants to ask for help. There is a colleague of mine, a Semarang person, who is taking care of the case at the Supreme Court'," explained Ghufron, imitating Dadan's statement.

After the incident, Heriyanto handed over money worth Rp. 11.2 billion which was transferred seven times to Dadan. "Some of the money was given by DTY to HH in March 2022," said Ghufron.

After giving the money, Dadan then informed Yosep as lawyer for Heriyanto with the phrase 'It's been 5 years, bro'.

"This means that the suspect DTY informed YP that case decision Number 326 K/Pid/2022 on behalf of the Defendant Budiman Gandi Suparman was found guilty with a prison sentence of five years," said Ghufron.

Akiba's actions, Dadan and Hasbi were declared to have violated Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b and or Article 11 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
