PDIP Will Hold National Working Meeting Tomorrow, Megawati To Jokowi Will Speech

PDI-P (PDIP) will hold a National Working Meeting (Rakernas) III on Tuesday, June 6 to Thursday, June 8. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to attend and PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri will provide a closed briefing to her cadres. This was conveyed by Hasto during a press conference at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Jakarta, Monday, June 5. Also accompanying Hasto, chairman of the PDIP DPP who is also SC Rakernas III PDIP Djarot Saiful Hidayat and the Presidential Special Staff for Economic Affairs, Arif Budimanta. "The opening of the National Working Meeting will be attended by President Jokowi. In a political speech, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri and also a speech and direction from President Jokowi, apologize, it will be delivered behind closed doors," Hasto told reporters. Hasto said Megawati's speech and directions from President Jokowi would be closed. The reason is that there is a discussion about the party's strategy bearing the bull symbol to face the 2024 General Election. Next, this National Working Meeting will also contain activities to compile the vision and mission of presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election. "This national meeting is a very important momentum in preparing all election winning strategies for 2024, what are the realistic targets to support the upcoming national leadership, and then how all the stages of the election can be carried out as well as possible, including the vision and mission of the presidential candidate prepared by the party which will last for more than 8 months," explained Hasto. "Thus in this National Working Meeting, aspects of the future government, vision and mission, aspects of winning the election, and then the ideology of taking sides with the little people will be discussed specifically," he continued. The Rakernas III activity will have the theme 'The Poor and Abandoned Children are kept by the State'. This theme is in accordance with the mandate of the Constitution Article 34 paragraph 1. "Everyone will encourage what President Jokowi has announced in overcoming extreme poverty of 0 percent by 2024. President Jokowi is from the PDIP so that Wong Cilik's side platform will also be implemented later, in the daily order of Mrs. Ketum Megawati related to this," said Hasto. Later, regional heads from PDIP will be present to provide input and strategies in fighting poverty in Indonesia. H. Ali Ibrahim.

Hasto said the regional heads would convey their policies and efforts to reduce poverty. "And the National Working Meeting will be closed on June 8 afternoon and there the recommendations for the National Working Meeting will be submitted," concluded Hasto.
