Dozens Of Aceh Police Members Trained To Become RW Police

BANDA ACEH - Dozens of Polri members from various work units of the Aceh Police were trained to become RW police officers who would serve as neighborhood units (RW) or hamlets in the western tip province of Indonesia.

Director of Community Development (Dirbinmas) of the Aceh Police, Kombes Mohammad Muslim Siregar, said the RW police training was attended by 49 Aceh Police personnel.

"Training is a form of refreshment and capacity strengthening in order to prepare personnel to become RW police in the ranks of the Aceh Regional Police," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 31.

The RW Police are a program from the government which aims to maintain security and public order (harkamtibmas) which will be implemented in the smallest area.

As for the training material, including the background and purpose of forming the RW police. With this material, he hopes that participants will understand the duties and functions of the RW police.

In addition, it is related to the implementation of tasks. This aims to ensure that the implementation of tasks is good and sincere and disciplined, including getting community support in the assignment area.

The middle officer of the Aceh Police also reminded that every RW personnel or police must be able to get public sympathy and help run smoothly in their respective areas of duty.

"We also remind the RW police that there is no need to do big things, simply with small things such as carrying out friendship and helping solve problems in the community," said Kombes Mohammad Muslim.
