PURWAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia Operational 2 Bandung conducted track checks starting from Bandung Station to Purwakarta, ahead of the implementation of the 2023 Train Travel Graph (Gapeka) on June 1.

"Inspections (trajection checks) are carried out to ensure the readiness of all routes during the implementation of Gapeka 2023," said Daop 2 Bandung Passenger Transport Manager, Moch Aji Dwi Hariyono, in Purwakarta as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 30.

"This change must be prepared and well anticipated by all KAI Daop 2 Bandung personnel," he said.

According to him, in Gapeka 2023 there is efficiency in long-distance train travel time departing for the Daop 2 Bandung area with a total of 214 minutes per day.

The details, 40 minutes efficiency on the Argo train, 38 minutes on the Executive Train, 74 minutes on the Mixed Executive Train, and 62 minutes on the Economy Train.

"In both routes, the speed of the train can reach 105 kph from the previous 90 kph," he said.
