Polda Metro Names 3 Suspects In Land Mafia Case Worth IDR 1.8 Trillion In Jakut

The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Metro Jaya Police has named three people as suspects in the alleged land mafia case worth Rp1.8 trillion on Jalan Yos Sudarso, North Jakarta.

"That Unit V investigators from Sub-Directorate III Environmental Resources (Sumdaling) Ditreskrimsus have named a suspect in a case of alleged criminal act of forgery and or ordered to enter false information into an authentic deed using a deed as if it contained the truth and participated in committing an act that could be punished," said the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Auliansyah Lubis, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 24.

The determination of the suspect is stated in the notification letter for the determination of suspect number B/6942/V/RES.1.9./2023/Ditreskrimsus dated May 23, 2023.

Auliansyah explained that the three suspects, namely MD alias Muhammad Dawud, YS alias Yan Shofian and TP alias Tonny Permana.

"The three suspects suspected of Article 263 of the Criminal Code as intentional offenses, whether intentionally or intentionally as intended and there is no offense of negligence (culpa) in letter forgery, and Article 266 of the Criminal Code regarding ordering to enter false information with a maximum sentence of 7 years," he said.

The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) also confirmed the investigation process of this land mafia case. However, the Attorney General's Office is still waiting for the filing being carried out by Polda Metro Jaya investigators.

"If the SPDP (Notification of Investigation Commencement) enters as of Monday, March 13, 2023," said Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office, Ade Sofyansah when contacted in Jakarta, Wednesday.

This case began with a resident from Karawang, West Java, Mukhsin made a report to the Polda Metro Jaya after feeling he was a victim of a land mafia over a 4.5 hectare plot of land on Jalan Yos Sudarso, North Jakarta.

The report was received by the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya with the report number LP/B/194/I/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated January 2, 2022.

Mukhsin's lawyer, Supri Hartono, explained that the length of the process in this case was due to constraints in the investigation of the TP suspect who lives in Singapore.

Until he was named a suspect, he never fulfilled the investigator's summons.

"The call was sent when the investigation was sent twice, and when the investigation was sent twice, the answer was the same, it could not be examined, the reason was that he could not go to Indonesia in all cases," he said.
