PKS President Continuates With Din Syamsudin

JAKARTA - President of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Ahmad Syaikhu is scheduled to stay in touch with former Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah Din Syamsudin in Cilandak, South Jakarta, this afternoon.

Chairman of the PKS DPP for Public Relations Ahmad Mabruri said Syaikhu's visit to Din Syamsudin's residence was part of the spirit of national friendship to open spaces for dialogue and find various common ground.

"In the Peak Speech of Milad 21 PKS, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu emphasized the politics of friendship. This is the implementation of national politics. This afternoon the main agenda is in the meeting of the President of PKS and Pak Din Syamsudin as national figures," said Mabruri, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 23.

As a figure who has led PP Muhammadiyah, Din Syamsudin is expected to provide input as well as advice for national work, in this case PKS is currently doing.

"We ask for views and input for PKS because we understand that all elements are fighting for the nation through the chosen path without neutralizing one another," he said.

Mabruri said the PKS leadership would continue to hold national politics to knit the spirit of unity.
