Satpol PP Monitors Shophouses In Pluit Who Grabbed Road Bahuts

North Jakarta Satpol PP Field Coordinator, Penjaringan Sector, Akhmad Yani, checked the shophouse building that had been demolished by the owner on Jalan Pluit Selatan/ ANTARA/Abdu Faisal.

JAKARTA - A number of personnel from the North Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit are monitoring shop houses (ruko) that violate Government Regulation (PP) Number 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Spatial Planning in RW 03 Pluit.

The Field Coordinator of the North Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of the Penjaringan Sector, Akhmad Yani, said that for the time being only the HS Cafe and Lounge shophouse had independently dismantled the floor of the building covering the waterways to the shoulder of the road.

"Meanwhile, the HS shophouse had just dismantled the floor. We want to see what the results will be after that we report to the leadership," Yani said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 22.

The purpose of the Satpol PP is to use the location in Pluit as monitoring officers so that his party can explore the progress made to the obstacles experienced by the community when ordered by North Jakarta Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim to independently dismantle shophouse buildings that violate the rules.

"We only see and report to the leadership level, to what extent and to what extent the progress made by the community in self-dismantling," he said.

In addition to the HS shophouse in Blok Z4 Utara Ruko Niaga Pluit, there are two other shophouses in the Block Z8 Selatan area whose owners have dismantled, namely the Captain Barbershop shop shophouse building and shophouse building Number 9 to 11 in Blok Z8 Selatan.

Even though the deadline for the owner to dismantle the shophouse building that occupies the water channel up to the shoulder of Jalan Pluit Selatan RW 03 Pluit is Tuesday (23/5).

There are still three tens of shophouse buildings out of a total of 42 shophouses that have violated, the owner has not demolished them himself.
