6 Perpetrators Of Beating Teenagers To Death In Deli Serdang Arrested

Medan Police Satreskrim personnel arrested six perpetrators of the persecution together which resulted in the death of the victim in the Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

The perpetrators numbered six people, three of whom were children, namely MR, PS, BB. While the other three actors are adults, namely FE (21), FD (21), and JS (19).

"The incident took place at Sibolangit Campground, Deli Serdang Regency, Thursday (12/4) at around 16.30 WIB," said Medan Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 6.

Fathir said the victim of abuse, who was 15 years old, was taken to Adam Malik Hospital in Medan.

"But on Monday (17/4), the victim was declared dead," he said.

The arrest of the perpetrators stems from the information conveyed by the public to the Medan Police Satreskrim.

Then the personnel conducted an investigation using the video circulating, namely a video when the victim was being abused by the perpetrator, which amounted to six people.

"The perpetrator's motive was to persecute him because he felt emotional when the victim carried out convoy activities in the Sibolangit area," he said.

Fathir explained that the perpetrators were already under treatment, and would also develop the persecution case.

The perpetrators were charged with the article of persecution which resulted in the victim of a child who was still a minor who died.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit also conveyed an appeal from the Medan Police Chief to students, especially to get supervision and attention from their parents.

"Students should be able to use the persecution case as a lesson related to not committing acts that are contrary to the applicable rules," said Fathir.
